20 large jumbo pasta shells

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cups marinara sauce

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil, for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Pasta Shells: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

      Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.

        Stuff the Shells: Carefully fill each cooked pasta shell with the chicken and cheese mixture, using a spoon or a piping bag for easy filling.

          Prepare the Baking Dish: Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

            Arrange the Stuffed Shells: Place the filled shells seam-side up in a single layer on top of the marinara sauce.

              Top with Sauce & Cheese: Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

                Bake the Dish: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
