Air Fryer Avocado Fries

2 ripe avocados

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Cooking spray (or olive oil spray)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and carefully scoop out the flesh. Cut the avocado into wedges or slices about ½ inch thick.

    Set Up Breading Stations: In three separate bowls, place the flour in the first bowl. In the second bowl, beat the eggs until well combined. In the third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

      Coat the Avocado Wedges:

        - Dredge each avocado slice in the flour, shaking off excess.

          - Dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

            - Finally, coat the slice in the seasoned panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

              Prepare the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

                Air Fry the Avocado Fries:

                  - Place the breaded avocado slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overcrowded; you may need to work in batches.

                    - Spray the tops of the avocado fries lightly with cooking spray to enhance crispiness.

                      - Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even browning.

                        Serve: Once done, remove the fries from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as a spicy mayo or cilantro lime dip.
