Ingredients
  

  • 1.0 pound large cremini or button mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2.0 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1.0 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2.0 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1.0 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Mushrooms: In a large bowl, toss the cleaned mushrooms with olive oil to coat them evenly.
  • Make the Coating: In a separate bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until fully combined.
  • Coat the Mushrooms: Take each mushroom, dip it into the cheese and breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating. Shake off any excess and set aside on a plate.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Arrange in the Air Fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated mushrooms in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Ensure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
  • Air Fry the Mushrooms: Cook the mushrooms in the air fryer at 380°F (193°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer's performance.
  • Serve: Once cooked, remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and sprinkle with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately as an appetizer or a side dish.
