Ingredients

12 fresh jalapeño peppers

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped (optional)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

Olive oil spray (for crisping)

Instructions

Prep the Jalapeños: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Carefully slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes (for extra heat, keep some seeds).

Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped bacon (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Stuff the Jalapeños: Using a spoon or a piping bag, generously fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, ensuring it's heaped slightly above the edge.

Prepare for Air Frying: In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with a drizzle of olive oil to lightly coat. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the stuffed jalapeños for added crunch.

Air Fry the Poppers: Place the stuffed jalapeños in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not touching to allow for even cooking. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

Serve: Once done, carefully remove the jalapeño poppers from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce, like ranch or salsa.
