4 large croissants

8 oz sliced deli ham

8 oz sliced Swiss cheese (or cheese of your choice)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Croissants: Slice each croissant in half horizontally, but do not cut all the way through. Open them like a book.

      Assemble the Filling: Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of the bottom half of each croissant. Layer 2 oz of sliced ham and 2 oz of Swiss cheese on top of the mustard.

        Close the Croissants: Carefully fold the top half of each croissant over the fillings.

          Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, thyme (if using), salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the top of each croissant to give them a golden and flavorful finish.

            Bake: Place the assembled croissants on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
