12 oz penne pasta

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup basil pesto

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the basil pesto, heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well until fully combined.

        Combine Ingredients: In the same bowl with the sauce, add the cooked penne and shredded chicken. Mix until everything is well coated in the sauce.

          Assemble the Dish: Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
