Ingredients

2 cups rotini pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

Salt and pepper, to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Boil Pasta: In a large pot, bring water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and cook the rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Allow the sauce to thicken slightly for about 2-3 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet, along with the drained rotini and frozen peas, if using. Toss everything together to coat in the creamy sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious creamy chicken alfredo!
