2 large chicken breasts, sliced into bite-sized pieces

2 cups broccoli florets

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

    Cook the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and a splash of chicken broth. Cover the skillet and steam for about 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp. Remove from skillet and set aside with the chicken.

      Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Pour in the remaining chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

        Thicken the Sauce: Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes, then mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

          Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked chicken and broccoli to the skillet, stirring to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Let everything simmer together for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
