Ingredients

1 pound (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

2 cups broccoli florets

8 ounces (225g) fettuccine or pasta of your choice

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.

Cook the Pasta: Pour in 4 cups (960ml) of water to the skillet and season it with salt. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, typically around 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: When the pasta is cooked, add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, creating a creamy sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, and gently toss everything together until the chicken and broccoli are well coated in the Alfredo sauce.

Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your creamy one-pan delight!
