Ingredients

1 large stale garlic bread loaf (or 4-5 slices of leftover garlic bread)

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried parsley

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

Salt and pepper to taste

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bread: If using a loaf, slice it into 1/2-inch thick pieces. If using leftover slices, cut them into small squares or strips to create chips.

Mix the Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well to create a seasoning blend.

Coat the Bread: Place the bread slices or pieces in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil mixture over the bread, tossing gently to ensure every piece is evenly coated.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the coated bread in a single layer on the sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap for maximum crispiness.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent burning.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let the chips cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese while they are still warm.

Enjoy: Serve your Crispy Garlic Bread Crust Chips as a snack, with dips, or as a crunchy topping for salads and soups.
