1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornmeal

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 eggs

1/4 cup buttermilk

Vegetable oil for frying

For the Honey Lime Sauce:

1/4 cup honey

Zest of 1 lime

Juice of 2 limes

1/2 tsp chili powder (optional for a spicy kick)

Salt to taste

For Tacos:

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup shredded cabbage (green or purple)

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1 avocado, sliced

Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and buttermilk.
