Crockpot Creamy Chicken and Pea Pasta

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 cups (480ml) chicken broth

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

2 cups (300g) fresh or frozen peas

12 oz (340g) pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)

1 medium onion, finely chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken: Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Drizzle olive oil into the bottom of your Crockpot, and place the seasoned chicken inside.

    Add Flavor: Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a separate pan over medium heat until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add this mixture to the Crockpot.

      Combine Ingredients: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, and sprinkle the dried Italian herbs over the top. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

        Slow Cooking: Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
