2 cups marinara sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (dried basil, oregano, and thyme mix)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: In a large bowl or baking dish, combine the frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, cooked pasta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Layer the Cheeses: Drop dollops of ricotta cheese evenly over the meatball and pasta mixture. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top, followed by the grated Parmesan.

Cover and Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Uncover and Brown: After 30 minutes, remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, let it cool for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm with a side salad or some crusty bread for a delightful meal!
