Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 slider buns

1 cup lettuce (shredded)

1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Drizzle olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove from pan and let rest for 5 minutes.

Make the Cranberry Mixture: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and cranberry sauce, mixing well until smooth.

Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken has cooled slightly, shred it using two forks or your hands and mix in the cranberry cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. Spread a layer of shredded lettuce on the bottom half of each bun. Next, generously spoon the cranberry chicken mixture over the lettuce. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

Serve: Close each slider with the top half of the buns. For an extra touch, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours if preparing in advance!
