Ingredients

12 ounces of frozen cheese ravioli

2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Salt and black pepper to taste

Olive oil for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.

Prepare the Cheeses: In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, provolone cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Layer the Ravioli: Pour half of the marinara sauce into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread half of the frozen cheese ravioli evenly over the sauce.

Add Cheese Mixture: Spoon half of the cheese mixture over the ravioli layer, spreading it evenly to cover.

Repeat Layers: Add another layer of sauce over the cheese mixture, followed by the remaining ravioli, then the rest of the cheese mixture. Finish with the remaining marinara sauce spread on top.

Top with Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese generously over the top layer of sauce and cheese.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Let it Rest: Once baked, let the casserole cool for about 10 minutes before serving. This allows for easier slicing and serving.

Garnish: Top with fresh basil leaves before serving for an extra burst of flavor and color.

Serve: Slice into squares and serve hot, enjoying every cheesy bite!
