Ingredients

4 ripe bananas, mashed

1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla flavored)

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup crushed walnuts (optional)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

1/2 cup diced strawberries

1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)

Whipped cream, for topping

Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Chocolate and strawberry syrup, for drizzling

Instructions

Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.

Layer the Ingredients: Divide the banana-yogurt mixture in half. In one bowl, stir in the cocoa powder until smooth. This will be your chocolate layer.

Assemble the Bars: Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later. Start by spreading the banana layer evenly over the bottom of the dish.

Add the Chocolate Layer: Next, spread the chocolate layer on top of the banana layer evenly.

Mix in Fruity Goodness: On top of the chocolate layer, sprinkle the diced strawberries, pineapple chunks, and crushed walnuts (if using). Press them down gently to help them stick.

Finish with Toppings: Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top. For added fun, drizzle a little chocolate and strawberry syrup lightly over the mixture.

Freeze: Cover the dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until firm.

Serve: Once frozen, remove from the freezer and lift the bars out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang. Use a sharp knife to cut into squares or bars.

Top and Enjoy: Top each bar with a dollop of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Drizzle extra chocolate and strawberry syrup over the bars for an added treat!
