Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

1 cup cold water

2 cups ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Strawberries: Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. Slice them into halves or quarters to expose more surface area for blending.

Blend Strawberries: In a blender, add the sliced strawberries. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse the blender a few times instead of blending completely.

Combine Ingredients: In the same blender, pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cold water. Blend on high speed until the sugar completely dissolves, and the mixture is well combined.

Add Ice: Add the ice cubes into the blender. Blend again until the mixture is slushy and the ice is finely crushed. You might need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary.

Taste and Adjust: Taste your frozen strawberry lemonade and adjust sweetness based on your preference. If it’s too tart, add a bit more sugar. Blend again briefly if you add more sugar.

Serve: Pour the slushy mixture into chilled glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices for a refreshing touch.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to enjoy the chilly treat!
