Ingredients

3 medium apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and diced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

1/4 cup granola (for topping)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

In a blender or food processor, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and nutmeg (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.

Fold the cinnamon apple mixture into the yogurt blend gently, leaving some chunks of apple for texture.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the apple yogurt mixture in an even layer, about 1/2 inch thick, over the parchment.

Freeze for about 4 hours, or until fully set.

Once frozen, remove from the freezer and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly for easier swirling.

Using a knife or a spatula, swirl the mixture lightly to create beautiful patterns.

Scoop out portions into bowls and sprinkle with granola for added crunch.

Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one month.
