Ingredients

8 oz (225g) fresh egg noodles (or your preferred noodle)

1 lb (450g) flank steak, sliced against the grain

4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

2 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 cup snap peas or green beans, trimmed

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Prepare the Steak: Season the sliced flank steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté on medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined, allowing the noodles to soak up the garlic butter sauce.

Add Veggies: Toss in the snap peas (or green beans) and red pepper flakes, mixing gently until the veggies are just tender but still crisp, about 2-3 minutes.

Finish with Steak: Return the cooked steak to the skillet and give everything a good toss to combine. Cook for an additional minute until everything is heated through.

Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor!
