Ingredients

1 lb fresh broccoli florets

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to create a marinade.

Marinate the Broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the bowl with the marinade. Toss until the broccoli is well coated. Let it marinate for about 10-15 minutes for optimal flavor.

Grill the Broccoli: Place the marinated broccoli florets directly on the grill grates or use a grill basket for easier handling. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until the broccoli is tender and has nice grill marks.

Add Parmesan: During the last minute of grilling, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the broccoli. Close the grill lid to help melt the cheese.

Serve: Carefully remove the grilled broccoli from the grill. Transfer it to a serving dish, sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish, and serve warm.
