Ingredients

12 dinner rolls (slider size)

6 large eggs

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup milk

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 slices crispy cooked bacon, chopped (optional)

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large baking dish, arrange the dinner rolls horizontally and slice the entire batch in half to create a top and bottom layer.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped bacon (if using).

Cook the Eggs: In a non-stick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are just set but still slightly soft. This should take about 5-7 minutes, as they will continue to cook in the oven.

Assemble the Sliders: Evenly distribute the cooked egg and cheese mixture over the bottom half of the dinner rolls. Replace the top half of the rolls gently.

Brush with Butter: In a small pan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Brush it generously over the top of the slider rolls to ensure a golden finish.

Bake: Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and warm through.

Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Top with fresh chopped chives before slicing them into individual sliders.

Enjoy: Serve warm as a delightful breakfast or brunch option, and watch your family and friends devour these tasty treats!
