Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked turkey, shredded or sliced

1/2 cup canned green chilies, drained

1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped

1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp cumin

4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, shredded turkey, green chilies, green onion, cilantro (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix everything together until fully combined and creamy.

Assemble the Pinwheels: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of the turkey filling evenly across the tortilla, leaving about 1 inch of space at the edges.

Roll the Tortilla: Starting from one end, carefully roll the tortilla tightly away from you, making sure to keep the filling in place. Press gently to secure the roll, and repeat this process for the remaining tortillas and filling.

Slice into Pinwheels: Once all the tortillas are rolled up, use a sharp knife to slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels. You should be able to get about 8-10 pinwheels from each tortilla.

Chill (Optional): For the best flavors, cover the pinwheels with plastic wrap and let them chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This helps firm them up and makes them easier to slice.

Serve: Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve them cold or at room temperature as a delicious appetizer or snack.
