Instructions
 

Make the Fig Jam:

    - In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup fresh figs (chopped), 1/4 cup water, 1 tablespoon honey (optional, depending on sweetness preference), and a squeeze of lemon juice.

      - Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the figs break down and the mixture thickens, about 15-20 minutes.

        - Remove from heat and let it cool. The jam can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.

          Prepare the Salad Base:

            - In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, sliced cherry tomatoes, and red onion. Toss gently to mix the ingredients.
