1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, non-fat)

1 cup low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup turkey pepperoni, chopped

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional, for a cheesy flavor)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Make Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and Greek yogurt. Mix together until a dough forms. If the mixture is too dry, add a teaspoon of water at a time until the dough reaches a soft but not sticky consistency.

      Add Cheese and Seasonings: Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped turkey pepperoni, nutritional yeast (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

        Shape the Rolls: Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into squares (approximately 3 inches x 3 inches).

          Fill and Roll: Take a square of dough and place about a tablespoon of the pepperoni and cheese mixture in the center. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal securely. Repeat with the remaining squares.

            Prepare for Baking: Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash for a golden finish.
