Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish

1/2 cup sugar (or honey, to taste)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 lemon, sliced

Ice cubes

Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Boil the Water: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Brew the Tea: Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags and fresh mint leaves. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

Sweeten the Tea: After steeping, stir in the sugar (or honey) until fully dissolved. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less to taste.

Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract, mixing well to distribute the flavor throughout the tea.

Cool Down the Tea: Remove the tea bags and mint leaves. Allow the tea to cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes, then place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours.

Serve: Once the tea is chilled, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the iced vanilla mint tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and sprigs of fresh mint.

Enjoy: Stir gently and serve immediately for a refreshing herbal drink!
