Ingredients

4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skin-on

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon fresh dill (or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the lemon garlic marinade generously over the tops of the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

Roast the Salmon: After marinating, place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Roast the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven. Garnish with lemon slices and freshly chopped parsley. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
