Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

½ cup whole milk

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

3 tablespoons maple syrup (for glaze)

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (for glaze)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with cooking spray or butter.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Whisk Wet Ingredients: In a separate large bowl, beat the eggs. Then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.

Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Fill Donut Pan: Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full. A piping bag or a zip-top bag with a corner cut off works well for this step.

Bake: Place the donut pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the donuts are golden.

Cool: Remove the donuts from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon until smooth and slightly runny. Adjust maple syrup or powdered sugar for desired consistency.

Glaze the Donuts: Once the donuts are cooled, dip the tops into the glaze or drizzle it over the donuts using a spoon. Let the glaze set for a few minutes.

Serve: Enjoy your delicious Maple Glazed Cinnamon Donuts warm or at room temperature. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
