Ingredients

1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), drained

1 bunch fresh basil leaves

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Salt and pepper to taste

12-16 small bamboo skewers

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients: Start by rinsing the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves under cold water. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.

Assemble Skewers: On each skewer, thread a cherry tomato half, followed by a basil leaf, and then a mozzarella ball. Repeat the process until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at each end for easy handling. Aim for about 3-4 sets per skewer for a colorful presentation.

Season the Skewers: Once all skewers are assembled, drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over them lightly. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Add Balsamic Glaze: Drizzle balsamic glaze over the skewers for an added burst of flavor that complements the caprese ingredients.

Serve: Arrange your mini Caprese salad skewers on a serving platter, and enjoy immediately. You can also chill them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving if you prefer them cold.
