Ingredients

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

½ cup cream cheese, softened

¼ cup sour cream

¼ cup mayonnaise

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package (1 sheet) puff pastry, thawed

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach and artichokes. Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Roll Out the Puff Pastry: On a lightly floured surface, unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet. Using a rolling pin, gently roll it out to smooth any creases. Cut the pastry into squares, about 2.5 inches each.

Assemble the Puff Bites: Place about a tablespoon of the spinach-artichoke filling in the center of each puff pastry square. Gently fold the corners of the square toward the center to form a little pocket, pinching the edges to seal tightly.

Egg Wash: Brush the tops of each puff bite with the beaten egg to achieve a beautiful golden color when baked.

Bake: Arrange the filled puff bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed up and golden brown.

Serve: Let the puff bites cool for a few minutes before serving. They are best enjoyed warm, served with a side of marinara or your favorite dipping sauce!
