4 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained

4 cups vegetable broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for serving)

Optional: Crushed red pepper flakes, for added heat

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, combine the uncooked pasta, olive oil, minced garlic, diced tomatoes (with juice), and vegetable broth. Stir to mix everything evenly.

    Season and Simmer: Add the dried oregano, garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and pepper to the pot. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot, allowing the pasta to cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until it is al dente.
