Crust:

24 Oreo cookies, crushed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling:

16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

Swirl Topping:

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup heavy cream

8 mini peanut butter cups, chopped (for garnish)

Optional Topping:

Whipped cream

Chocolate sauce

Additional crushed Oreos

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

      - In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.

        - Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool while preparing the filling.

          Make the Cheesecake Filling:

            - In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer.

              - Add the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and smooth.

                - Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed just until incorporated. Do not overmix.

                  Assemble the Cheesecake:

                    - Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled Oreo crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

                      - Drizzle the peanut butter over the cheesecake filling, and use a knife or skewer to swirl it around gently.

                        Bake:

                          - Place the cheesecake in the oven and bake for approximately 55-60 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.

                            - Once done, turn off the oven, crack the oven door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about an hour. This helps prevent cracking.

                              Chill:

                                - Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.

                                  - Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

                                    Serve:

                                      - When ready to serve, carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan.

                                        - Garnish with chopped mini peanut butter cups, whipped cream, crushed Oreos, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce if desired.

                                          - Slice and enjoy the rich layers of deliciousness!
