Pesto Chicken and Tomato Toast Melts

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

1/2 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 slices of thick-cut crusty bread (like ciabatta or sourdough)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the basil pesto. If desired, season with salt and pepper for additional flavor. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated with the pesto.
