Ingredients

6 cups Reese’s Puffs cereal

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup crushed peanuts (for extra crunch, optional)

Cooking spray or parchment paper (for lining)

Instructions

Prep the Pan: Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly coat with cooking spray for easy removal.

Heat Mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the creamy peanut butter and honey. Stir consistently until the mixture is warm and well combined, about 2-3 minutes.

Add Vanilla: Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract until incorporated.

Combine with Cereal: In a large mixing bowl, pour the Reese’s Puffs cereal. Add the warm peanut butter mixture and stir gently with a spatula until all the cereal is evenly coated.

Incorporate Add-ins: If using, fold in the mini chocolate chips and crushed peanuts for an extra touch of flavor and crunch.

Press into Pan: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Using a spatula or your hands (lightly wet to prevent sticking), press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan.

Chill: Allow the bars to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or refrigerate for about 15 additional minutes to firm up.

Cut & Serve: Once set, remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles and enjoy!
