1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn or flour tortillas

For the Avocado Crema:

1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon lime juice

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt to taste

Fresh cilantro (optional for garnish)

Taco Toppings:

Diced tomatoes

Shredded cheese

Sliced jalapeños

Lime wedges

Instructions

Prepare the Avocado Crema:

    - In a food processor or blender, combine the ripe avocado, sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.

      - Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Set aside.

        Cook the Beef Filling:

          - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

            - Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

              - Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

                - Stir in the taco seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

                  Warm the Tortillas:

                    - While the beef is cooking, warm the tortillas. You can do this on a hot skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or wrap them in foil and place them in a warm oven until ready to serve.

                      Assemble the Tacos:

                        - Take a warm tortilla and add a generous scoop of the beef mixture in the center.

                          - Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and jalapeños, if desired.

                            - Drizzle on a generous amount of avocado crema and garnish with fresh cilantro, if you like.

                              Serve:

                                - Serve the tacos immediately with lime wedges on the side for extra zest!
