Ingredients

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice of flavor)

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

12 slider buns

1 cup coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Dill pickles (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

Make the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and honey until well combined.

Slow Cook the Chicken: Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover with the lid and set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks, returning the shredded chicken to the BBQ sauce in the slow cooker. Stir to combine and let it sit on warm for an additional 10-15 minutes so it can soak in the flavors.

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. Spoon a generous amount of the BBQ chicken onto the bottom half of each bun. Top with coleslaw and add pickles if desired.

Serve: Place the tops of the buns on the chicken and serve warm. These sliders are perfect for a family gathering or game day snacks!
