Ingredients

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup Caesar dressing (plus extra for serving)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup fresh Romaine lettuce, chopped

8 sandwich rolls or hoagie buns

Optional: additional Caesar dressing and croutons for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In your slow cooker, place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

Mix the Sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.

Combine in Slow Cooker: Pour the mixed sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is well coated.

Cook: Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Let it cook for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded with a fork.

Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken in the slow cooker, mixing it into the sauce.

Assemble the Sandwiches: Lightly toast the sandwich rolls or hoagie buns. Spoon generous portions of the shredded chicken mixture onto the rolls, then top with fresh chopped Romaine lettuce.

Garnish and Serve: Drizzle with additional Caesar dressing if desired, and sprinkle with croutons for extra crunch. Serve warm and enjoy!
