Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust based on heat preference)

1 teaspoon minced garlic (about 2 cloves)

1 teaspoon grated ginger

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each fillet is well coated. Cover or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor).

Preheat the Grill or Pan: If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using a pan, heat a large skillet over medium heat with a little oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later. Season each fillet lightly with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-sear each salmon fillet for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness. Brush with some of the reserved marinade while cooking for extra flavor.

Glaze the Salmon: In the last minute of cooking, pour the remaining marinade into the pan or onto the grill to create a glaze. Let it cook for an additional minute until it thickens slightly and coats the salmon.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked through, remove the salmon from the heat. Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving. Enjoy your spicy honey glazed salmon with steamed rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal!
