8 hot dogs

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

1 cup mustard or ketchup (for serving)

16 small candy eyes

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Crescent Roll Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate it into triangles. You can cut each triangle into strips if you want thinner bandages for your mummies.

      Wrap the Hot Dogs: Take a hot dog and start wrapping it with the dough strips, leaving a small section uncovered at the top for the face of the mummy. Try to overlap the dough as you wrap to give it a bandage effect.

        Add Cheese (Optional): If you like it cheesy, sprinkle a little shredded cheddar cheese on top of the hot dog before finishing the wrap.

          Place on Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If desired, lightly spray it with cooking spray. Carefully place the wrapped hot dogs on the sheet.

            Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
