Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 ounces each)

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, mix together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, and sesame oil until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for maximum flavor).

Preheat the Grill or Oven: If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If baking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Add the Salmon: If grilling, lightly oil the grill grates. Remove the salmon from the marinade, letting excess marinade drip off. Grill for about 4-6 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. (You can brush extra marinade over the top during grilling for added flavor.)

If baking, place the marinated salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, transfer the salmon to a serving platter. Drizzle with any remaining glaze, and sprinkle with chopped cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
