2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 lime, juiced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

For the Avocado Crema:

1 ripe avocado

1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1 lime, juiced

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt, to taste

For Assembly:

Corn or flour tortillas (8 small)

1 cup red cabbage, shredded

1/2 cup radishes, thinly sliced

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly with the spices. Let marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

Make the Avocado Crema: In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), lime juice, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

Warm the Tortillas: In a separate skillet or directly over an open flame, warm the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Assemble the Tacos: On each tortilla, layer a handful of shredded red cabbage, a few shrimp, a drizzle of avocado crema, and top with sliced radishes and jalapeños if desired. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Serve: Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing on top. Enjoy your zesty shrimp tacos!
